Gives the dimensional, hydraulic and acoustic properties to which flow rate regulators intended to be mounted on sanitary tapware shall correspond and the test methods whereby these properties may be verified. This European Standard specifies the performance criteria related to the health and environmental protection of people for sanitary taps and their related accessories used for the water supply. The performance requirements are expressed in terms of mechanical endurance, flow rate, effectiveness and level of acoustic pressure. This standard includes and makes reference to the corresponding test methods and the evaluation of conformity of the product to this standard.
