    Specifies a test procedure to verify compliance with a predetermined waveform mask and to measure the eye pattern and waveform parameters such as rise time, fall time, modulation amplitude and extinction ratio.

    This standard specifies a gauging system for metric taper external threads and mating parallel internal threads as specified in DIN 158-1.

    Gauging of parallel internal threads is to be carried out as specified in ISO 1502.
