    Defines requirements for valve protection caps and guards to be used with industrial and medical gas cylinders. Specifies tests for checking mechanical strength and physical properties of valve protection cap or valve guard. Applicable to valve protection devices for fitting to gas cylinders used for liquified, dissolved or compressed gases.
