La présente Norme internationale établit et définit les termes utilisés dans la documentation technique de produit relatifs aux dessins techniques, à la définition de produits et à la documentation associée dans tous les champs d\'application.
Le présent vocabulaire est fondé sur l\'ensemble des termes contenus dans les normes de l\'ISO/TC10 et dans d\'autres documents qui couvrent la documentation technique de produits, quelles qu\'en soient les disciplines. Les termes ont été classés en champs d\'application spécifiques.
Les nouveaux termes exigés par les sous-comités et groupes de travail de l\'ISO/TC10 pour les normes nouvelles ou révisées seront ratifiés par l\'équipe chargée de la maintenance du vocabulaire de l\'ISO/TC10 et seront inclus dans les futurs amendements de la présente Norme internationale.
NOTE1 L’AnnexeA fournit une liste de termes et définitions qui figuraient dans des parties précédentes de l\'ISO10209 et pour lesquelles de nouvelles définitions sont données dans les normes actuelles de l’ISO/TC10.
NOTE2 En complément des termes et définitions utilisés en anglais et en français, deux des trois langues officielles de l’ISO, le présent document donne les termes équivalents en langue allemande; ces termes sont publiés sous la responsabilité du comité membre allemand (DIN), et sont donnés uniquement pour information. Seuls les termes et définitions donnés dans les langues officielles peuvent être considérés comme étant des termes et des définitions de l’ISO.
