This International Standard specifies the characteristics of prevailing torque type hexagon thin nuts (with non-metallic insert) with thread from M3 up to and including M36, in product gradeA for threads up to and including M16 and product gradeB for threads above M16, and with property classes 04 and 05.
NOTE The dimensions of the nuts correspond to those given in ISO4035 plus prevailing torque feature.
If other specifications are required, they can be selected from existing International Standards, for example ISO261, ISO724, ISO898-2, ISO965-2, ISO2320 and ISO4759-1.
