This International Standard specifies the characteristics of prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon high nuts with metric fine pitch thread, with nominal thread diameters, D, from 8mm up to and including 36mm, in product gradeA for sizes D up to and including 16mm and product gradeB for sizes D above 16mm, and with property classes 8, 10 and 12.
NOTE The dimensions of the nuts with the exception of the dimensions mw and hmax correspond to those given in ISO8674.
If other specifications are required, they can be selected from existing International Standards, for example ISO261, ISO724, ISO898-2, ISO965-2, ISO2320 and ISO4759-1.
