Gives definitions, dimensions and tolerances of a taper screw thread of nominal diameter 17.4 mm (designated 17E), for connection of valves to industrial and medical gas cylinders. Does not cover connection requirements for: gas tightness; mechanical strength; capability of repeated assembly and dismounting operations.
