Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Guidance on human-centred design activities throughout the life cycle of computer-based interactive systems is provided for project managers. Hardware and software components of interactive systems are considered, as are sources of information and standards relevant to the human-centred approach. The emphasis is on planning and management of human-centred design activities rather than project management, and gives little detail about health, safety or ergonomics.
