Specifies two types of turn and slip indicators which are calibrated for nominal air speeds of 140 and 280 knots respectively for the purpose of this British Standard and denotes instruments embodying two separate mechanisms, each with an indicating pointer (or its equivalent), with separate scales on a common dial. 'Turn' pointers indicate rates of turn of the aircraft about the true vertical, the 'slip' pointers indicate deviations from correct bank.

This British Standard covers two types of instruments which are calibrated for nominal air speeds of 140 and 280 knots respectively.
