This British Standard specifies requirements for pressure transducers used in aircraft pressure systems, to convert a fluid pressure into an electrical signal for transmission to aircraft indicators or systems. It is applicable to transducers capable of measuring gauge, absolute or differential pressure, that have an accuracy in the range 0.25 % to 2.0 % of full scale output at reference conditions, and are capable of working over the ambient temperature range − 54 °C to + 85 °C.
