Introduces security principles, presents an overview of security requirements for financial transaction systems using integrated circuit cards, and introduces parts 1 to 7 of ISO 10202. There are three annexes to this standard, annex A (informative) which provides a guide to this standard, annex B (informative) portrays a logical architecture of the ICC, and annex C (informative) for a logical architecture of the SAM.
