Defines the tolerances applicable to the positioning tests for linear axes, not in excess of 2000 mm long, and rotary axes of machining centres. Does not deal with environmental conditions, machine warm-up and measuring procedures.

This part of ISO10791 specifies, with reference to ISO230-2, the tolerances which apply to the positioning tests for linear axes, up to 2000mm in length, and rotary axes of machining centres.

It does not deal with environmental conditions, warm-up of the machine and measuring methods, already described in ISO230-2.
