This International Standard provides generic advice on the application of ISO30000:2009.
It explains the underlying principles of ISO30000 and describes the intent, typical inputs, processes and typical outputs, for each requirement of ISO30000. This is to aid in the understanding and implementation of ISO30000.
This International Standard does not create additional requirements to those specified in ISO30000, nor does it prescribe mandatory approaches to the implementation of ISO30000.
NOTE Occupational health and safety issues may be included when an organization seeks to implement an integrated environmental and occupational health and safety management system.
