BS AMD 8799 RENUMBERS THIS STANDARD TO BS EN ISO/IEC 11544 Defines a bit-preserving (lossless) compression method for coding image bit-planes and is particularly suitable for bi-level (two-tone, including black-white) images. Coverage includes definitions, acronyms, symbolic constants, template graphics, spatial phase, data structure graphics, data organisation, resolution reduction, arithmetic coding. Also gives detailed annexes.
