          Procedural model

Defines the operation of local MAC bridges by specification of the operating of local MAC bridges observable on the interconnected LANs, and a protocol for optional use between remote MAC bridges, across the non-LAN communications equipment which interconnects them, for configuration of the remote bridges within the bridged LAN according with the Spanning Tree Algorithm of ISO 10038:1993.
