Describes the semantics and syntax of the computer programming language Pascal. Does not specify the size of a program and its data that will exceed the capacity of a processing system, the minimal requirements of a data processing system capable of supporting Pascal, the method activating the set of commands used to control the environment in which a Pascal program is executed, the mechanism by which programs written in Pascal are transformed for use by a data processing system, the method for reporting errors or warnings and the typographical representation of a program published for human reading.
