BS AMD 7796 RENUMBERS THIS STANDARD TO BS EN 29171 PT1 Describes the optical and recording characteristics for recording information once and for reading it many times, so as to provide physical interchangeability between data processing systems. Gives definitions of essential concepts, the environment in which the characteristics are to be tested, the environments in which the cartridge is to be operated and stored and the mechanical, physical and dimensional characteristics of the case and of the optical disk.
