BS AMD 8199 RENUMBERS THIS STANDARD TO BS EN ISP 10607/6 Describes management of files between the filestores of two systems using the OSI connection mode transport service to provide the interconnection. One end system acts in the initiator role and initiates the file management, the other acts in the responder role and provides management of the file in the virtual filestore. Covers normative references, definitions, abbreviations, conformance, virtual filestore and file protocol.
