The purpose of this Technical Specification is to facilitate the application of ISO 6743-7 classification standard and to accurately state the characteristics to be accounted for in establishing specifications for a given application. These characteristics could serve as a basis for discussion between the supplier and end user. The Specification does not cover detailed requirements which should be examined separately with a view to common agreement between the product supplier and the end user. Health, safety, disposal and environmental areas which should be dealt with separately, according to the regulations or laws in force in each country are also not covered in this document.
