Describes the methodology of defining and determining the internal volumes of the lower and main deck aircraft cargo compartments. Also gives the minimum required clearance between the compartment envelope and unit load devices so as to give the maximum ULD external contour and the methodology for defining of the ULD internal volumes.

This International Standard covers the methodology of defining and determining the internal volumes of both the main deck and lower deck aircraft cargo compartments.
