This British Standard specifies requirements for the design (including dimensions), construction, scantlings, glazing, testing and installation of non-opening and opening type windows for ships. It also specifies the thicknesses of toughened safety glasses for ships’ windows located in the respective tier positions in both passenger and non-passenger ships.
