Gives preferred values for characteristics and ratings and also inspection requirements for power potentiometers of assessed quality. Such potentiometers have rated dissipation exceeding 10 W. It selects from generic specification, CECC 41 000, appropriate methods of test to be used in detail specifications derived from this document. A blank detail specification completed as specified in this document forms a detail specification which may be used for granting of Qualification Approval to a potentiometer and for performance of Quality Conformance Inspection in accordance with CECC System.
