Applies to F&HICs manufactured as catalogue products or as custom built products using thick film techniques and whose quality is assessed on the basis of capability approval. Gives preferred values for ratings and characteristics, from appropriate tests and measuring methods in CECC 63 000, and describes general performance requirements for use in detail specifications for F&HICs derived from this specification. The concept of preferred values is directly applicable to catalogue products but does not always apply to custom built products. Passive networks can be qualified to this specification.
