This edition of the Standard, aligned with documents EN 60521, EN 60514, and EN 60898, applies to integrated assemblies, defined as equipment consisting of a directly connected electrical energy metering system with a switch in series in a single enclosure, including any auxiliary circuits suitable for connecting an electronic unit responsible for data processing and bidirectional communication functions, which may or may not be housed within the same enclosure.
