This Standard, the third edition of the corresponding European harmonization document, applies to rigid and flexible cables with insulation and any vulcanized rubber-based sheath, with a nominal voltage not exceeding 450/750 V and usable for alternating current systems with a nominal voltage not exceeding 450/750 V.
