    FASC 8354 La presente Norma CEI descrive le modalità di prova atte a verificare l'attitudine di un determinato tipo di cavo a contenere, per le varie tipologie d'installazione a fascio, la propagazione del fuoco in caso di incendio. I cavi che sono in grado di superare le prove descritte nelle Parti 2 e 3 della presente Norma CEI, sono particolarmente adatti ad essere impiegati negli impianti elettrici in cui, per particolari ragioni impiantistiche od ambientali, occorra contenere al massimo il pericolo di propagazione di un eventuale incendio. Le prove di cui alle Parti 4 e 5 della presente Norma CEI, definiscono i metodi per accertare il mantenimento di una delle caratteristiche dei materiali non metallici componenti i cavi.
