The Standard concerns accessories (external terminations and junctions), intended for alternating current electric cables with Uo/U insulation voltage up to 600/1000 V and direct current up to 750 V; it does not concern accessories for cables with cross-sections of less than 6 mm2 and for Uo/U voltages of less than 450/750 V alternating current or less than 200 V direct current.
