This Standard specifies the minimum requirements for earthing and equipotential bonding within buildings in which information technology equipment is intended to be installed, in order to: - minimize electrical risks; - provide the entire IT system with a reliable signal reference and adequate electromagnetic immunity against interference transmitted by the earthing system.
