This Standard applies to new power transformers, either three-phase or single-phase, whose maximum voltage for the equipment is greater than 36 kV and whose rated power is equal to or greater than 5 kVA, or whose rated power is equal to or greater than 40 MVA, regardless of the maximum voltage for the equipment.
