This Standard specifies the safety requirements for electric roller ironers for commercial use, intended to be used by trained personnel in environments such as hotels, hospitals and light industry, as well as in areas open to the public, such as in laundries, and whose rated voltage is not greater than 250 V for single-phase appliances and not more than 480 V for other appliances.
