This Standard applies: - to screw lamp holders with Edison E14, E27 and E40 threads, intended only for the connection of lamps and semi-luminaires to the power supply; - lamp holders with switches for use only in alternating current circuits, with an operating voltage not exceeding 250 V (RMS value); - to the Edison E5 thread lamp holders intended to connect lamps in series to the power supply network, with an operating voltage not exceeding 25 V, to be used indoors, and to the Edison E10 thread lamp holders intended to connect lamps in series to the power supply network, with an operating voltage not exceeding 60 V, to be used indoors or outdoors; to the E10 lamp holders to be incorporated, intended to connect individual lamps to the power supply.
