This part of EN/IEC 60252 applies to capacitors for motors intended to be connected to the windings of asynchronous motors, powered by a single-phase system with a frequency not exceeding 100 Hz, and to capacitors intended to be connected to three-phase asynchronous motors to enable these motors to be powered by a single-phase system.
