This Variant, which implements EN 60309-2/A1 of April 2004, adds, in particular, a new paragraph on screw terminals, identified by the size of the terminals themselves, and modifies the articles and dimensional sheets affected by the introduction of a different classification of the degree of protection against the penetration of liquids, resulting from the elimination of the drops and triangle symbols.
