This Standard applies to traction transformers installed on board rolling stock and to the various types of inductors inserted in the circuits of electric vehicles such as: • filter inductors• leveling inductors • switching inductors • protection inductors in static power converters• inductive shunts for traction motors • inductors used for switching between variable speed drive sockets• Inductors for braking circuit • Inductors for interference suppression.
