This Standard applies to two-pole interconnection connectors for alternating current only, with or without earth contact, with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V and a rated current not exceeding 10 A for household and similar appliances, and to interconnection cords equipped with a detachable connector plug of the type used for interconnection connectors.
