This Standard specifies the requirements for ground-recessed luminaires incorporating electrical light sources, intended to operate with supply voltages up to 1000 V, for indoor or outdoor use, e.g. in gardens, courtyards, driveways, car parks, cycle paths, pedestrian paths, pedestrian areas, areas around swimming pools with the exclusion of SELV zones, children's environments and similar applications.
