Italian version of the European Standard CENELEC EN 60601-2-3, identical to Publication IEC 601-2-3 (1991), the Standard provides safety requirements for shortwave therapy devices with a nominal output power not exceeding 500 W. Low-power appliances, i.e. less than 10 W, are excluded from some requirements as they are considered to be no risk.
