This standard applies to heterogeneous lampholders intended for incorporation (for use with general purpose light sources, projection lamps, floodlighting lamps, and street lighting lamps with bases of the type listed in Annex A) and to the test methods to be used to determine the safe use of lamps in the lampholders.
