In accordance with the European Standard CENELEC EN 60898, contextual, with Amendments, to IEC Publication 898 (1987) plus Amendments 2 (1989) and 3 (1990), the Standard applies to air circuit breakers for operation at a power frequency of 50 or 60 Hz having a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V (between phases), a rated current not exceeding 125 A and a rated short-circuit capacity not exceeding 25000 A.
