CEI EN 60945:1998-12

This Standard specifies minimum performance requirements, test methods and test results required for general requirements that may be applied to those characteristics common to all of the following equipment: a) shipboard radios forming part of the overall maritime safety and distress system and shipboard navigational equipment required by the SOLAS International Convention, as amended, and the 1993 Protocol to the 1977 Convention for the Safety of Fishing Vessels; b) for EMC only, all deck-mounted equipment, equipment in the vicinity of receiving antennas and equipment capable of interfering with the safe navigation of the ship and with radio communications (IMO Resolution A.813).
