This Standard applies only to static electric active energy meters for outdoor and indoor, new from the factory and consisting of a measuring element and one or more indicator elements enclosed in the same housing, of precision class 1 and 2 intended for the measurement of active electrical energy in alternating current with a frequency between 45 and 65 Hz and only for their type tests. It also applies to function indicators and test devices.
