This Standard applies to AC capacitors, both self-healing and non-self-healing, with a power not exceeding 2.5 kvar, capacitance exceeding 0.1 μF, having a rated voltage not exceeding 1000 V, used in discharge lamp circuits operating at frequencies of 50 Hz and 60 Hz at an altitude not exceeding 3000 m.
