La Norma descrive i metodi per misurare gli intervalli di temperatura in cui avviene la fusione delle leghe saldanti; tali leghe sono usate nei circuiti degli apparecchi elettrici, nelle apparecchiature elettriche e per comunicazioni ed in generale per la connessione dei componenti.
