This standard covers the design, thermal cycling tests, corona discharge and radio interference voltage (RIV) tests, acceptance criteria, and a mathematical acceptance criterion, the latter limited to Class A and B joints, for overhead line equipment with a nominal voltage greater than 45 kV.
