The most important technical changes introduced by this variant compared to the basic standard CEI EN 61347-1: 2009-01 concern in particular: - introduction of the SELV requirements (removed from some parts 2 of 61347): articles 1, 3, 5, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16 and Annex L; - introduction of the requirements for functional earth and protective earth: articles 3, 7.1, 9 and 14; - introduction of the requirements for the maximum output voltage Uout: articles / paragraphs 3, 7.1, 12 and 20; - introduction of requirements for materials used for double or reinforced insulation: articles 4, 12 and Annex N; - introduction of the requirements for electronic power supply units with double or reinforced insulation: articles 12, 14, 16 and Annexes M and 0; - revision of the tests to verify if a conductive part can cause electric shock: Annex A.
