This standard specifies the requirements for insulation monitoring devices that, regardless of the measurement method, continuously monitor the insulation resistance to earth of the following IT systems:- unearthed AC systems with voltages up to 1000 V AC;- AC systems with galvanically connected DC circuits and voltages up to 1000 V AC;-unearthed DC systems with voltages up to 1500 V DC.
