It covers all aspects related to the safety (whether electrical, thermal or mechanical) of safety transformers and isolation transformers, fixed or mobile, single-phase or polyphase, air-cooled (natural or forced) with a nominal primary voltage not exceeding 1000 V AC, a nominal frequency not exceeding 1 MHz and a nominal power not exceeding 25 kVA for single-phase isolation transformers, 40 kVA for polyphase isolation transformers, 10 kVA for single-phase safety transformers and 16 kVA for multi-phase safety transformers.
