It applies to isolating transformers, whether associated or not, air-cooled, fixed or mobile, single-phase or multi-phase, with a rated primary voltage not exceeding 1000 V AC and a rated frequency not exceeding 500 Hz, with a rated power not exceeding 1 kVA if single-phase and 5 kVA if multi-phase.
