Questa Norma, che non è stata concepita per rispondere ad esigenze di certificazione o contrattuali, utilizza un approccio qualitativo, anche se in allegato vi sono esempi di metodi quantitativi, ed è applicabile a qualsiasi situazione industriale in cui vi sia una interazione uomo/macchina.
