La presente Norma si applica alle seghe da banco trasportabili aventi singola lama dentata, o lame sovrapposte per il taglio di una singola scanalatura, o aventi una testa di taglio per sagomare, destinate per il taglio del legno e materiale analogo, per il taglio delle plastiche e dei metalli non ferrosi ad esclusione del magnesio, ed il cui diametro della lama ha dimensioni comprese tra 105 mm e 315 mm.
